As you are aware, the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha is approaching, and we hope your preparations for Qurbani and Eid are going well. The management of Madinah Mosque, Itäkeskus, extends warm Eid greetings in advance to you and your families.

This year, keeping your comfort and participation in mind, the mosque administration has arranged for the Eid prayer to be held in a large indoor hall at Myllypuro Kuplahalli, near Itäkeskus.

Due to the overwhelming turnout on Eid al-Fitr; where many people, especially during the second congregation, had to stand outside in the parking area and missed the prayer. It was requested by many community members to have a single Eid prayer where women and children could also comfortably participate.

By the grace of Allah, the Eid al-Adha prayer will be held as follows:

The Eid prayer hall is just a 5-minute walk from Itäkeskus bus stop, and only 1 minute from the first stop of Bus 92.

Parking at Smash Center Tennis Hall is not free – €1 per hour applies. We encourage attendees with vehicles to arrive early to secure parking. Free 2-3 hour parking spots are also available nearby within walking distance.

Please perform Fajr prayer at home before coming. As this is a sports hall, wudu (ablution) facilities are limited, so kindly come prepared with ghusl/wudu already done. Also, bring your own prayer mat, or a clean large sheet or rug to pray on.

Separate prayer space with privacy arrangements will be provided for women. Sisters and daughters who wish to attend are welcome.
